Dear CVA Members (Cities & Industrials)
It is my pleasure to inform you that CVA scientific holidays will take place from 04 to 13 of July,2008 at the EUROSPACE CENTRE of Redu in Belgium. Soon you’ll receive by mail a more detailed notice.
Meanwhile I kindly invite you to already note down that:
- This programme will welcome 30 European young people, 15-17 years old (+ 2 participants/CVA City – I encourage you to plan extra candidates)
- Fee: 150 € (transport cost one way & return to Liege is not included)
- It is not mandatory for participants to have “big” scientific knowledge
- Scientific and intercultural activities will take place at the Eurospace Centre

- Astronaut training will be proposed to participants: Ariane history, micro rocket workshop and launch, simulation of US shuttle mission: briefing, training and mission. All informatio and photos are available via this web link: http://www.eurospacecenter.be/enstage.htm
- Cultural visits are also planed, such as the city of liege and other surprises (ESA Astronaute Centre in Koln, tbc.)
- Call for candidate will be sent to you beginning of April (by mail or via a web link)
- Subscription forms must be returned beginning of May to CVA Office (8-10 rue Mario Nikis 75015 Paris or cva@ariane-cities.com)
- Confirmation of registration will be sent back to participant beginning of June.
